IT Asset Manager - ITAM (Physical IT Assets) The company offers a unique and exclusive opportunity for an experienced IT Asset Manager to lead the lifecycle process for physical IT assets within our banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT asset portfolio, ensuring compliance with ITIL Foundation and CHAMP CITAM standards. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the entire lifecycle of physical IT assets, from acquisition to disposal. 2. Implement and maintain ITIL Foundation and CHAMP CITAM standards in IT asset management. 3. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records. 4. Develop and implement strategies for maximizing the utilization of IT assets while minimizing costs. 5. Ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations and industry standards. 6. Provide regular reports on asset usage, performance, and financial impact. 7. Manage vendor relationships related to IT asset procurement, maintenance, and disposal. 8. Implement asset management best practices to improve efficiency and reduce risks. 9. Participate in audits and reviews of IT assets. 10. Provide guidance and support to junior team members. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. ITIL Foundation certification required; CHAMP CITAM certification preferred. 3. Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT asset management within the banking sector. 4. Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management principles and best practices. 5. Proven ability to manage complex IT asset portfolios. 6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 9. Familiarity with banking regulations and industry standards. 10. Proficiency in relevant IT asset management software.
