BIM Coordinator (Architect)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and standards for our architecture projects. You will work closely with the project team to ensure that BIM models are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with established standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate and manage BIM processes and standards for architecture projects. 2. Ensure that BIM models are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with established standards. 3. Work closely with the project team to streamline workflows and improve project efficiency. 4. Provide training and support to project team members regarding BIM processes and software. 5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration in BIM projects. 6. Prepare BIM execution plans (BEP) for each project. 7. Conduct BIM clash detection and resolution to prevent potential construction issues. 8. Participate in project meetings to discuss BIM-related matters and provide insights on best practices. 9. Assist in the development of BIM standards and guidelines for the organization. 10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. 2. Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role in the architecture industry. 3. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software. 4. Knowledge of national and international BIM standards (e.g., BIM Level 2). 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 6. Strong leadership abilities and team collaboration skills. 7. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 8. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 9. Familiarity with local building regulations and construction practices in the UAE is a plus.
