Job Description

Job Title: Construction Manager - Civil (132 kV Substation Project) Antal International is seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Civil to lead and oversee civil construction activities for a major substation project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure project delivery in line with the client's expectations, adhering to project timelines, budget, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: 1. Plan, coordinate, and implement civil construction activities, including earthwork, site preparation, drainage systems, foundations, roads, and structures. 2. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet deadlines and minimize costs. 3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and efficient project execution. 4. Oversee the work of civil engineers, technicians, and laborers to guarantee quality, safety, and adherence to the project design and specifications. 5. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. 6. Manage contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and timely delivery of materials and equipment. 7. Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to maintain positive relationships and address any issues that may arise during the project. 8. Monitor and control project progress, identifying potential risks and devising appropriate mitigation strategies. 9. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure construction activities comply with project specifications and quality standards. 10. Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, change orders, and closure documents, as required by the client.
