An MEP Manager in the hospitality sector oversees the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within hotels and other hospitality buildings. They ensure these systems are designed, installed, and maintained to meet operational needs and safety standards. This role is commonly found in hotel chains, resorts, and large hospitality projects.
What this role usually involves
- Plan and coordinate MEP activities during hotel construction or renovation.
- Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Supervise MEP teams and subcontractors on site.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to MEP works.
